Do you want to build a beautiful custom parliament? Cathedral? Town hall? Palace? Something else? Whatever the monument, this pack of modular neoclassical architecture should be an exquisite and timeless addition to your city.
As per the name, the architecture is neoclassical or classical revivalist, with some Baroque influence as well. It is not entirely copied off of one place, but it is inspired by various structures including St Paul's Cathedral (London), the Panthéon (Paris), the Church of the Madeleine (Paris), and the U.S. Capitol Building (Washington). These structures can all be fairly faithfully recreated with this plugin.
I upload this plugin on the forums so you can examine the files if you wish. You may adapt the graphics or code for your own plugins but please credit me if it has made significant contribution. I have also submitted it to the plugin store (costing 30 diamonds or free with an ad), so if possible I recommend you download it there so I can get some diamonds.
Contains:- 3x3 dome pieces
- 3x3 building pieces
- 1x3 building pieces
- 1x3 portico piece
- 1x1 colonnade pieces
- 1x1 clock tower piece
- All pieces contained in "Neoclassical" category under Public > Awards
Notes:- All pieces are effectively rotation-aware (though 4-way symmetrical pieces don't have separate rotation frames for simplicity).
- Night frames included for the domes and clock towers only.
- Snow frames are not included.
- Domes cost 30,000 to build and 300 monthly to maintain.
- Clock towers cost 10,000 to build and 100 monthly to maintain.
- 3x3 building pieces cost 10,000 to build and 100 monthly to maintain.
- All 1x3 pieces cost 3,000 to build and 30 monthly to maintain.
- Colonnade pieces cost 1,000 to build and 10 monthly to maintain.
- All pieces provide 100 park and culture influence.
- All pieces do not require road.
- Porticos and colonnades do not require power or water, but the other pieces do.
Trivia:- The text on the entablature of the porticos reads "GOD SAVE THE KING" for no particular reason other than it looked the best out of the few phrases I tried out.
- The building cannot burn, so you can recreate St Paul's Survives in TheoTown
![Very Happy :D](./../images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.png)
- The pediment is created from an image of La Madeleine in Paris (credit to Jebulon on Wikimedia Commons, but it is under CC license).
- The columns used are supposed to be Corinthian columns.
- The graphics are sized according to a rough scale of 1.5 metres for a person (3 pixels); the windows and doors are large because that's how they are in many monumental structures (e.g. St Paul's).
- The time on the clocks is 10:10.
- My 2nd plugin!
Updates:- Reduced build time to 0 for ease of design.
- Fixed plugin.manifest error.
- Added clock towers and colonnade pieces. Added text descriptions. Made 1x3 pieces into correctly-rotating compositions. Removed duplicate rotation frames. Fixed column shading for right portico. Made portico/colonnade tile patterns align. Updated thumbnail to reflect these changes.
- Added windowless slices and more rotation frames for (windowed) slices. Fixed some shading with the domes. Repositioned the clock tower earlier in the menu.

Contains:- 3x3 intersecting dome piece
- 3x3 'corridor' (i.e. straight, without intersection) dome piece
- 3x3 intersecting piece
- 3x3 corridor piece
- 1x3 piece
- 1x3 portico piece
- All pieces contained in "Neoclassical" category under Public > Awards
Notes:- 1x3 pieces are actually 1x1s with graphics that extend 2 grid squares to the northwest or northeast, so you can fit them into tighter builds.
- All pieces are rotation-aware.
- However the 1x3 pieces can't rotate correctly due to a technical limitation. There are still rotation frames though, only you may have to reposition them in different rotations.
- Night frames included for the domes only.
- Snow frames are not included.
- Domes cost 30,000 to build and 300 monthly to maintain.
- Normal 3x3 pieces cost 10,000 to build and 100 monthly to maintain.
- All 1x3 pieces cost 3,000 to build and 30 monthly to maintain.
- All pieces provide 100 park and culture influence.
- All pieces do not require road.
- Porticos do not require electricity or water, but the other pieces do.
