If you mean implementing in the game as means by plugins, you can make some yourself, its not really that hard- although it might take some time to make it look good.

There's I think 2 plugins which reflect ancient buildings (Perhaps there more, but these are the ones I like the most)
1. ANCIV Mesopotamia by Sir Jollyann
2. Seigneur (medieval pack) by Streeet

It all depends. Its calculated using downloads and theres a lot of calculations done but I do not know the exacts of it. Generally speaking
More downloads = More diamonds
More plugins = More downloads
It accumulates over time since it gives you more diamonds each day

Place it in the same folder as the json and ensure the name is correct

I think putting up zones will be the most efficient method as the game usually calculates the most densest buildings to place as it grows. The same effect can be done manually so theres not much of a difference. If youre working on a giant map, it can be argued that putting zones can help save time ...

Yep, theres no additional purchases as it is paid upfront when you buy the game on steam. So everything like military and building expansion packs and stuff youd normally buy for diamonds on mobile are unlocked. Plus, additional features (No build time/speed up/slow down unlocked)

To answer the actual topic of this post though, you can use the in-game file manager to export the towns you want - this will probably be the best way especially on new versions of android. On ios, you should be able to find it within your device files as well. Locate the city files you want to keep...
