It is true that a "grid" system would be better to see all of the buildings faster (if that's even what you mean) please do that lobby

The idea itself is good, but how exactly should it look like? If we use a grid, where to display the information about the building?

He is suggesting a dialog box with thumbnails. You would press a thumbnail to get the build the building option and building info.
