Railways and Terrain

#1

Post by LemonSoup » Sat Feb 20, 2016 10:52

I'm new to the forum, so I'm not sure if the following has been discussed before...

Firstly, I'd like to see railways/railroads (and railway stations) added to TheoTown. It would be great to build railways for habitants to commute between areas in the city, and also may help to alleviate road-going traffic. And it would look pretty cool!

Secondly, the addition of variable terrain. What I mean by this is the option to elevate and lower ground in order to form hills, mountains, etc. I also think you should be able to build on top of elevated terrain.

That's nearly impossible, because of the used game engine :(

Buses and bus stops are already integrated into the game

You have to build a bus depot first.
The box label said, "Requires Windows 10 or better.", so I bought an Amiga Computer.

Railways and trains are possible, but variable terrain with hills or mountains is not possible because of the game engine.

Wow! I didn't know there was something under the expressway ;D Great! So now's the time for pedestrian zones other than parks like shopping avenues... christmas markets... seaside promenade... beaches... :)
