Well Done Mayor, your efforts and dedication has been noticed by the International Football Federation. They have tasked you (and mayors from all around the world) to create a city commemorating your Country which has just made it to the round of 16 of the World Cup. Face against other mayors to represent your Country and then compete against other Countries in an epic tournament style championship to decide which city best celebrates their Country. The International Football Federation wishes you good luck on this mission.

Important Dates:
Phase 1: 04 July 2026 10:00 to 12 July 2026 10:00: Open for submissions: Create a city representing one of the 16 countries in the round of 16 in the World Cup.
Phase 2: 12 July 2026 10:00 to 14 July 2026 10:00: Voting for Country representatives: the best city from each country will move into the knockout rounds.
Phase 3: 14 July 2026 10:00 to 20 July 2026 10:00: Knockout round voting: Public voting decides who will win our World Cup!!
Phase 4: 20 July 2026: Winners will be announced!

How does it work

So the way it works is think of the 16 countries in the round of 16 in the World Cup as categories.

People select one country and they make a submission under it following the requirements: must be inspired by that city, must have 1 football stadium nd must be in one picture.

Once submission period is over, a select group of people will vote for the entrants from each category/country. Highest voted entry from each Country will move to the knockout round (and they each will receive a reward for winning the category).

In the knockout round, countries are pitted against each other and voting will be open to public foe 24 hours at a time. And the top 3 will get an additional prize.
