What does "environment" refer to and how do I improve it to make citizens happy? Also, how do I control water pollution in residential areas?

~Thanks

Good for environment: Trees and Parks
Bad: Noise and Pollution (like from industry)

For water pollution: I recommend to have separate water pipe networks for industry and other zones so industry doesn't pollute drinking water

Ok, I used separate water supplies and that helped, and I have tons of parks and trees but can't get the environment above 85. I have industry far enough away from the residential and commercial areas that the noise and pollution doesn't spill over into those areas. I've installed two water filter plants, one for the pipes that lead to the industrial area and another for the pipes to the residential area. I'm not sure what, if anything, I can do to decrease the amount of pollution industry creates. Is there anything else I should be doing?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know.
My environmental rating does never go to 90 % or above. It's maximum is at round about 85%, too.
