Creating a quality house plugin

Hello, this is a guide on creating a graphically pleasing plugin.

Graphics
Every plugin should fit the style and palette. This will contain basic and advanced steps, feel free to skip some.


Basic Shapes
Start off by creating your building's basic shape. I already added grass lawn using Lobby's and Theo's texture. This fits most of the buildings.
Tip on shadows: Choose the leftmost wall color first. Look at darkness then. The rightmost wall should be 20% darker, while top - 15% lighter.

Rooftops
Now, time for something that will make our house look like a house, a roof. I used dark chestnut for contrast. I also added a little dormer on the 2nd floor and a roofed porch below.

Doors and Windows
Natural light is better, make sure to place some windows. I used 2D3F4F for that. I also incuded a white garage door and a chestnut main door.

Details
Our house looks plastic. We would rather a concrete one, wouldn't we? Time to apply some slight noise to walls.
For roof, both noise and an 2-1-2-1 pattern. I've also added a driveway.

Outdoors
The front yard doesn't look promising, does it? Some trees and plants would fit there for sure. Don't forget about security, add a tall and sturdy fence around! You can use ingame trees for this.

Shadows
And, for the final and a very important step, add some shadows. I recommend 20% black.

Just try to do yourself. This is a tutorial, so you can try to make it
