First, what size is your plugin like in-game size. The reason that it is happening, it's because the image of your plugins is smaller than the in-game tile/s. If your plugin is few pixels short, then it would float. This is a common problem to some creators.

You may have extra space at the bottom of your image.

Such as this alien on ice would float in the air because the bottom 4 pixels of the intended image are not at the bottom of the actual image shown by the lavender line.
