Yes, it would be more realistic. Why do all the trees in Theotown stay green in winter?

What do you mean? Don't vanilla trees all have winter textures!??!??

i like this now all i need are some New England houses and the actual fall tree pack to get things running

They have winter textures, but all of them stay green, no matter what type of tree they are.

You should try drawing trees with empty branches at that size. It usually doesn't look great.
