Good job. I also prefer the first one.
I noticed the diagonal shadow in the top-right corner is a bit to low. It should start right at the edge of the roof.
And you may want to add some more detail to the ground. Maybe some foundations for the trees and some people.

The details and shadows are fine. But it seems too dark now. I preferred the brightness level from before.

I like the more lighter, is more this thing of building in france on summer so this is the why of the why
