It's the opposite. Literally every teacher has a gun to protect each class. And the principal must atleast have a revolver. 5 police officers are also headquartered very close to the school. School shooting rate in Arstotzka is only 0.001%.

nah, tbh, UHAE didn't had any school shooting since 37 years, all schools have metal detector and 1 policeman guarding the place .
also, atlanteans are not allowed to possess military material .

In Arstotzka only government-funded schools and some few private schools have metal detectors.
