No, don't get me wrong, The buildings themselves are really nice. They only need a little more contrast, I think.
You could apply a steeper gradation curve, for example (I don't know which graphics program you're using). And that would do the job already :)

great but if we had a more American looking one i would make a massive shopping center with too much parking
