I feel like TT was more fun when plugins were limited. Now it's a city painter and game of who can download more plugins. :bb

As quoted by Koala, many are using it for that purpose altough i can think of a few builders who have made an impressive job. I dont have myself, the time to make such nice cities as many are.

Sure, it has a lot more content than before. However the change in design is very noticable. Every new mechanic and building is designed around a "freemiun" concept. It doesn't really challenge you, it gives you the tools to build a paradise with minimal effort. That effort being how much you are willing to spend time and diamonds and paradise being how many buildings you buy or how many plugins you download (which you buy with diamonds now).

Before you could compare it to SimCity 2000. Now you can compare it to SimCity 5, currently a dead game with many DLCS and superheroes.... Wait. Maxis man... Pickle? Oh dear... I better stop talking :space

Who are these guys and why do they keep driving into my industrial highways? It would be OK if they had a logical path, but driving outside a city, through a landfill area and a wind turbine area just to get in the industrial zone which has no connection to the town is just dumb. All the trucks stop just to let them join in, which causes massive traffic jams.

EDIT: Seems like the Pedestrian Zone Expansion plugin by Kingtut adds them. I removed it until I find their ID so I can remove them. They seem to be cyclists, but TheoTown's traffic system doesn't really work well with cyclists since they act like a slower car.

Took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to replace all redwood trees with mdk's pine trees using a Lua script... Was it worth it :bq

Probably not. When I have more than 2 big lua scripts then anything lua related in the game breaks. Like the game doesn't read half of the script and it starts throwing in random stuff everywhere. So you would have to keep switching plugins everytime you want to use a different script, and I have 4 of them right now for replacing different stuff. Even if not doing anything, they must be running in the background to check if you want to do something.

I have some ideas on how to fix it but I don't know if they will work. If they do, then you can expect Koala's Terrain Tools to be released :space
