Factory became grey

Hello i have a question
What is the rule about factory, i became crazy, my factory run few minutes (he's alone, 300 people in town, factory 200 people)after he's grey without workers

Probably the workers were unhappy for some reason or the factory satisfied a higher demand compared to the required one, so there actually are not enough workers. This might be the reason
