Thats something Ive wondered too. Most of the buildings and plugins in the game are too European or Asian. And the American-style plugins are really only downtown buildings or apartments, etc.

exactly! Very little suburbia plugins

There are only plugins from down towns, europe, south east and east Asia and middle East only. There are a few from South America, Indian subcontinent, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Central America, and Canada. The rest of Africa, Central Asia, are not at all covered.
