We will be sunsetting the TheoTown version on the Amazon Appstore.
The platform represents only a very small fraction of players while still requiring separate maintenance. In addition, Amazon’s DRM has been causing technical issues, including launch failures and problems with online features, which we cannot reliably resolve.
Amazon has also discontinued its Appstore for standard Android devices and is focusing on its own ecosystem, further reducing the viability of the platform.
What this means:
- Existing installations will continue to work
- No further updates
- Online services may stop working in the future
Alternatives:
- Install via Google Play if possible
- Or use the official APK from here (no support for Amazon In-App-Purchases)
Purchases/diamonds can be synchronized via your forum account. Map data must be transferred manually as described in our FAQ.
