What Are Your Best Tips for Organizing Forum Posts?

Hi everyone, I’m curious how people here keep their forum posts organized, especially when a forum has lots of different topics and older threads.

Do you have any simple system for deciding when to create a new thread, when to reply to an existing one, and how to keep discussions easy to follow?

I’d also like to know what forum features you find most useful for managing posts and keeping track of discussions.

I usually keep things simple: create a new thread when the question is genuinely different, but reply to an existing thread when it already covers the same subject. Clear titles, specific questions, and staying on-topic make discussions much easier to follow, especially when a forum has a lot of older posts. Using bookmarks or subscriptions for important threads is also helpful for keeping track of useful discussions.
