Level 1 and 2 residential

#1

Post by bonjoni » 07 Jan 2017, 04:09

I guess this question applies to commercial and industrial as well, but it was residential that got me thinking...

When growing a city, after Level 2 is available, is there any advantage or reason to build Level 1 residential zones? I haven't played around with it much on my own, and I skimmed the forum for help.

I tend to start converting my level 1 zones to level 2 as soon as I have the money, and my city seems to grow very quickly from there (on easy mode at least). Is there any reason to continue building sparse zones?

Individual buildings are available when enabling the Debug mode. Just a piece of cake

This subdivision is level one residential. As you may see from the building info for the mansion type with the red roof, it has level $$$ inhabitants.
