So today another plugin has arrived.
THE WOOLWORTH BUILDING (yay.....)
so if anyone look suspicious that the Woolworth Building belongs to a major company's headquarters, you are wrong.
(It is the headquarters for the F.W Woolworth Company, but now it is a residence (situated after the 30th floor).
So some history here,
the Woolworth Building was built in the Big Apple in 1913,
back then, it served as the headquarters for the F.W. Woolworth Company, a major retailer in USA (well basically a supermarket chain).
It had a height of 241 m, with 55 stories (another 5 service floors) .
With the astounding height of 241 m, it makes the Woolworth Building the tallest skyscraper in the world.
Well, the record was soon taken away by another building in NYK, the "Trump"Tower in 1930.
So now, it is a residence which the penthouse was sold at a jaw-dropping price of 100 million USD.
