Big Fact: My country is very diverse. From snowy mountains to hot deserts to salt flats to the wettest place on earth.
Not only that way, but almost all religions are practiced; people of different ancestries can be found; languages from 5 major families are spoken.
Beliefs and ideologies of the people are also diverse, some are in favour of Marxism while there's die-hard capitalists; some believe in magic, some in science, but most in religion.
If 1000 people were interviewed, they would all give different answers.
This was all about geography and people, now about the flora and fauna.
There are about 12 Biogeographical regions, 5 biomes, and there's TWO Biodiversity hotspots here. It is one of the 17 Megadiverse (yes there is such a thing)
As many as 3700 tree species are here and that's just the trees, there are 50,000 plant species here of which, 6000 are endemic. The largest tree (by area) is here.
There are about 90,000 animal species with unknown number of endemic ones. 4 of the Big Cats call this place home (Including the lion).
