How to earn?

I want to build an airport, but it would cost millions, and I currently only have around $200K. What are some good ways to grow my money while still meeting the residents’ demands?

I think commercial plug-ins (especially TTT ones) can speed up the process, or if you want to play vanilla you can try to expand your commercial and industry zones as those are the ones that bring income. You can also increase tax but don't increase it too much (under 9% is okay).
