Why old plugins deleted in plugin store?

#1

I checked in the plugin store yesterday, and the total was 2,639 plugins still here... But now, it was 2,629 plugins left? Why?

Sometimes spammers try to spam plugins into the store. When we delete them this reduces the plugin count which includes non approved plugins (as of right now).

You mean you wanted to remove the plugins that are low quality and bad graphics or useless?

Pretty much, you'd be surprised at the amount of (trying to think of a better word) garbage which comes in for approval.
