Niko Kruzchev dies from cancer
Our dear leader, Niko Kruzchev has died from cancer, he had it since the New Years, and unfortunately lost his battle with cancer at around 6:15 PM, confirmed by his relatives. The prime minister will take over control for the time being, and 10 national days of mourning will be held. His funeral is set to be on May 19, 2024.

Any country is invited to participate in Niko Kruzchev's funeral, wether they're Allie's of enemies of Airistan. All flights are to be at least landing at 5 AM, and is expected that all diplomats (or leaders) be at the El Dajiz Church (in St Christopher) and start the funeral procession and carry his casket on display for all St Christopher civilians to see for one last time.
Tawhid Al Islam celebrates

Airistanian troops going into Tawhid Al-Islam territory
In a massive operation, code named "Niko's fist" (in remembrance of Niko Kruzchev) is in action. At around 9:30 PM, Airistanian military vehicles and improvised fighting vehicles were spotted charging at Tawhid Al-Islam positions, destroying pickup trucks, sedans, and SUVs owned by the militants, it is expected that Tawhid Al-Islam will retreat into neighboring countries.

This flag is called "The Freedom Flag". Voters have about October 31st 2024 to change the flag or not. If it's accepted, the old flag (seen below) will be replaced by January 1st, 2025 by "The Freedom Flag"

Airistan changing its name
The new president Dawood Al-Khatiff has proposed (along with the new flag) that he is considering changing Airistan's name to something new. The new proposed name is "Ar-Rabiyah" as Airistan's original tribe (the airistanis) used that name as it was more simpler

Landslide victory
The election for the flag and the name change has been official, about 98% of voters support the new change, 1% does not support and another 1% doesn't care. The full effect will happen on November 5th 2024.
Biblical tanks
Ar Rabiyahi tanks were spotted with bible verses written on the side skirts such as Isaiah 51:10 and John 14:6. A possible reason for this is to boost morale for the soldiers, as Christians make up around 84% of soldiers (the rest are tribal religions, Islam, Judaism etc.) As different religions have their own special military section such as the 6th Muslimeen Brigade or the 8th Airistanian army brigades (nickname is Yahweh's warriors)
