Invisible water if placed on hills near map border

If you place some water on high enough elevated terrain that's near the map border, it will become invisible and show the background.
You can clearly notice it in the screenshot below

are you on beta?
because,beta is WIP but you can get the unreleased things but there can be bugs and glitvhes

I think the most recent versions don't allow placing water above the sea level terrain.

I'm playing on version 827, not using the beta versions. You can't place water near slopes, but you can in flat terrain as shown above. Water is only placeable when all land tiles surrounding it are flat.
I would be really sad if water on terrain was removed completely

They don't, unless you are using experimental features.

no, you just can't place them on slopes/ramps, if it's flat, water can be placed...
