Hello Koala!
In the first post it says "If you're updating". I am downloading for the first time and the download link just gives me a plugin file. Can you elaborate a little more on how I download this properly?

Hello.
If the download link gives you a .plugin file, move it from the Downloads to Theotown plugins file. The plugin will work automatically if there is no errors in json writing.

So the png's and json file is all wrapped up inside plugin file?

Yes. Its just like a zip file, except it is protected by encryption. Some plugin makers do this to add security and to prevent their work from being modified by users.
