Preview Icon for Trees

I have started working on a few new trees and encountered a problem, i added the preview frame functionality via json and it didnt worked . Are preview frame supported for trees ?

As of right now they are not since it's unclear how to handle that in the context of multiple trees within one tree object. Do you use multiple trees (frames) within one object?

currently not, it's planned in the future however. Altough i would prefer the ability to add icons for a tree specie instead of merging trees texture.

Do you think you could add the ability to have custom tree icons, even if there is one for all frames ?
