Hello I'm changing devices and would like to have my old world on my new phone. does anyone know a way to transfer the map?

You have to move the files from your old to your new device manually. You can do that by connecting both devices to a PC. All what you have to do then is to copy the whole TheoTown folder (on Android that is the folder Android/data/info.flowersoft.theotown.theotown/files which can also be accessed on the device itself by using Google's file explorer) to your new device. If you want to be more picky about what to transfer you may have a look into the folders within the TheoTown folder. Namely "maps" contains all cities that are not located in a region while the folder "regions" contains each region as a separate folder.

I use Android 14 and Currently that way of Copying from Into. Android/data/into.Flowersoft.theotown is not working
I use zarchiver and its denied,, access denied and i just opened another file application and when i tried to sesrch through Android/data/into.Flowersoft.theotown in that application again its no where to be found,, And when i return to Zarchiver it says ACCESS DENIED*
In 2023 i reckon its still possible but now its NOT!!!

You can use the File Manager in game or the Files app from Google.

Convenient to use File Manager from Google
geometry dash. I have deployed quite large data but it works really smooth.

For TheoTown world transfer, you've got a few options:
Use the in-game File Manager
Google Files app
Google Drive backup
Manual PC file transfer (if you're comfortable with that)
Just make sure you copy the "maps" or "regions" folder from your old device to the new one. Hope this helps!

If you can’t access the folders on Android 14, try using the File Manager in the game or back up your files with Google Drive. You can also connect your phone to a PC and copy the TheoTown folder to move your maps and regions
