I just started playing and it is not explained how to get gas or coal to run the plants. Please help.

You should think that the gas plant is connected to a pipeline.
The coal plant is of course supplied by truck or rail.

I wish there was a thing like that

Or maybe it doesn't burn gas and coal but wood.

Unfortantly, There isn't any gas and coal in my version.

I propose that a gas-fired power plant requires an oil field, a coal-fired one requires a coal mine.

I'm just joking.
