If you're talking about Uber mode then no, it's not possible to disable Uber mode.

Just like I bought uber mode. It is a pity that you can not turn it off

You might try this:

1. Create a region with a map of the same size. Make sure the map is still locked.
2. Copy your desired .city file to that region.
3. Make a note of the name of the .city file name of the same size.
4. Delete that .city file.
5. Rename your desired .city file to the name you noted.
6. Now go to that new region in the game and unlock the map.

The city will still be the same, but the name, date, and rank will be reset once unlocked. If you have bus depots in the map, and you keep playing both, you will only earn diamonds at whichever depot's routes earn diamonds first. The other map will pass that milestone without giving you diamonds.

I hope this helps, never playing sandbox, I don't know if the new map will be sandbox still or not.

Not really, I have some where certain maps overlap.
