I guess I will post more images on this city.
Just some general background info.
226k residents
I used the San Francisco heightmap for this.
The city was historically a working class town in the southwest, over time industry spread to Yem and it boomed in the 1950s. Sadly much like many rust belt cities the population declined due to white flight and loss of industry. The wealthy population fled to the eastern suburbs, which led to a large service economy popping up in the center city, fueled by the hard work of new immigrants and the working class.
The sprawling eastern suburb of Bayside.
The small industrial town-turned service suburb, Strikerstown
Yem Urban Intercontinental Airport (YEM) - rapidly going bankrupt due to low usage.

Uptown. - One of the hardest hit by the loss of population, this is apparent in the northside neighborhood, which, after peaking at a population of over 26,000 in the 1960 census, has dropped to a population of roughly 5,000, with the majority living in public housing estates. Large swaths of land are currently vacant and overgrown, leading to a new growth urban forest.
Inner South Yem - A collection of mostly African-American neighborhoods including Southside, Washington Park, and Brickyards Historic District (commonly known as "the yard"). Washington Park was the city's first African-American neighborhood, founded in the 1850s due to the large amount of freed slaves who came to Yem in order to find good paying work. Many of the historic African-American estates and businesses were torn down to build public housing and now-a-days Inner South Yem has some of the highest violent crime rates in the city and also one of the highest poverty rates in the city at an estimated 46.3%.

I might do a NYC type city for my next big city. For this one I was kindof trying to replicate how a Southwestern major city's street plan would naturally grow, ie. Houston, Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio.
