Zoom in if you can’t see letters (obviously) also brightwater river a.k.a the Scioto River isn’t finished and Ive barely started on Riverside a.k.a Columbus so I’ll probably come back to edit this once I have to show the complete map.
Hey! New update to the map I’ve finished Columbus and the rest of the scioto river! Here’s the new maps.
After a long while, I finally have a new update! This time, I’m focusing on Lorain, OH, or shall I say, Candon, JF. I spent hours moving, plopping, zoning, and locking buildings from mod packs to make it look as Appalachian, Midwest, and historical brick architectural as I can while also looking into/researching the past, current, and most likely future state of Lorain, OH, to bring a exaggerated, upscaled but fundamentally accurate and realistic version of Lorain, OH, in TheoTown through Candon, JF, which I’ll show and explain in the following images and dialogue.
In the second image, the water front is the main focus of the image showing how there seems to be a lot more condos and marinas/piers than industrial buildings unlike the other side of the city, this is a nod to a currently ongoing development project on the water front of Lorain, OH, where they are ditching their old industrial fronts for a newer, more public friendly space with a less polluting tech economy with possible tourism.
In the fourth image, you can see that the southern side of Candon is still struggling to develop in some areas, especially the waterfront, this is also a real world phenomenon happening in multiple cities like Lorain due to the southern side being landlocked and having a poorer economic advantage unlike the northern more developed waterfront of Lorain even having some nice suburbs with less density drop-off on the scale the southern side has it which is actually the real focus of the fourth image.
The main focus of the fourth image depicting the southern side of Candon is that both Lorain and Candon are experiencing a major and severe density drop-off due to their sharing of a less developed southern region. In Lorain’s case, it’s because of their southern landlocked economy and environment but in Candon’s case it’s because geography naturally funneled financial power to northern Candon because southern Candon’s geography did not support the massive shipping operations in Iron Lake like the northern side did just like the industrial and tech divide between New York City and Jersey City/Newark.
The first and third image show you the entire city of Candon, JF, enjoy the view and feel free to tell me how you feel about this update and what you would like me to improve or see next! See you soon!

Huge maps in TheoTown are always crazy impressive
As someone connected with Ohio communities and city development interests,
I really enjoy seeing large realistic region builds like this.
