I’d like to share some suggestions related to vehicles, mainly trains. I know not all of these ideas may be feasible, but hopefully they can be useful for discussion or considered for future updates.
1. Multi-level passenger train stations
Support for stations with multiple vertical levels (elevated / stacked platforms). Some countries use elevated or layered stations, and having this feature would add more realism and interesting city layouts.
2. Opposite-direction train traffic (contra-flow logic)
An option to set train directions opposite to road traffic. In my country, trains and road vehicles do not follow the same directional system.
Example: if cars on the left side move north, trains on the left track move south. This could be a toggle or regional setting.
3. Rotatable level crossings with automatic barriers
Road–rail crossings that support rotation and include automatic gates/barriers which close when a train is approaching or passing. This would help with custom layouts and realism.
4. Multiple stop logic for a single station asset
Allow one station/stop to be counted multiple times in a route. For example, if a route starts at the middle station of three stations, the middle station would count as two stops in the route logic.
(Visually, vehicles don’t really stop anyway—especially when using time acceleration
5. More toll gate / ticket gate variations
Additional toll gate models that could also function as generic paid-entry or ticket gates (similar to parking systems), usable for different types of places.
Thanks for your time, and thank you for the great game!
