Ber-Months is a term used by Filipinos to describe the Christmas season, which begins in September and lasts until December covering the months that end in “-ber.” However, the season is often extended until January with the Feast of the Three Kings. During this period, Christmas songs, decorations, and events begin to fill the atmosphere.
Christmas in the Philippines is joyfully celebrated by various ethnic groups such as the Tagalog, Kapampangan, Bisaya, Ilocano, and many others, making it colorful and vibrant. Each province has its own unique way of celebrating. One of the most iconic symbols is the parol (known in archaic Tagalog as paritaan). This plugin highlights the parol lanterns of Pampanga, the Kapampangan people, who live north of Manila, the capital.
