The ASEAN HQ (Headquarters), officially known as the ASEAN Secretariat, is the administrative heart of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations located in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. Originally established in 1981 and significantly expanded in 2019 with the addition of eco-friendly twin 16-story towers, the complex serves as the central hub for regional diplomacy, hosting over a thousand meetings annually and coordinating the political, economic, and socio-cultural activities of its member states. Often referred to as the "diplomatic capital of ASEAN," the building features a record-breaking skybridge, modern meeting facilities, and public spaces like the ASEAN Gallery, symbolizing the unity and integration of the Southeast Asian region.
