The *Estela de Luz* (officially named the Monument to the Bicentennial of National Independence) is a monumental tower located in Mexico City. It was built between 2010 and 2011 under the administration of former President Felipe Calderón to commemorate the bicentennial of Mexico's Independence and the centennial of the Mexican Revolution. Due to its shape and color, the capital's residents popularly nicknamed it "la Suavicrema."
