The Heyburn Building is a 250 foot (76 meter) tall building in Lousiville, Kentucky. The building was completed in 1928, and was built on the site of the Avery Mansion, home to suffragist Susan Look Avery. The building was built on the "magic corner", at 4th and Broad Street, and helped turn what was once a posh residential area, into a commercialized district that rivalled Louisville's Main Street. It was the tallest building in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, until a vertical addition was completed on the Commonwealth Building in 1955, also in Louisville.
