  • The Corruption Eradication Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (commonly abbreviated to the KPK) is a state institution that was formed with the aim of increasing the effectiveness and effectiveness of efforts to eradicate corruption. The KPK is independent and free from the influence of any power in carrying out its duties and powers. This commission was established based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30 of 2002 concerning the Corruption Eradication Commission. In carrying out its duties, the KPK is guided by five principles, namely: legal certainty, openness, accountability, public interest, and proportionality. The KPK is responsible to the public and submits its reports openly and periodically to the President, DPR, and BPK.
