Rzhev Memorial was founded on the initiative of veterans of the Great Patriotic War through crowdfunding and is located in Rzhev, Tver, Russian Federation. The sculpture was created by Ukrainian sculptor Andrei Korobtsov and architect Konstantin Fomin. The main part is an ordinary soldier with resolute eyes, slightly bowed head, looking straight ahead. The soldier sculpture is made of clay molded bronze and is divided into 600 parts, each of which is individually cast into bronze and finally spliced. The statue is located in the center of the monument, its lower part is made up of a flock of flying cranes, which gradually dissipate and disappear.
