@wetguy Already started on that, the problem is that I want to have cars in v2 frame format to save texture space. But as v2 cannot be mixed up with v1 cars I'd have to redo all existing cars in the game in order to add new ones.

@Lobby, Are you going to add any of the cars in this thread into the game sometime?

I never wanted to actually directly copy a building from another game. I was just asking if it is copyright infringement if you make a building that is similar to a building from another game but highly edited. And by the way, I knew that Theo was friends with a guy who made graphics for Simutrans.

@A dutch Guy Please make these tankers standalone. I can make you a spawner for them if you want aka taking a game building and adding the spawner to it. Giving credit ,of course. You're free to use the texture if you want. For your plugin "more traffic variety" does ...

There won't be a service package as planned in the past. It will just be a part of the game. No idea about when this will happen.

If you make a Theotown plugin inspired by a building or vehicle from another isometric game, even if it is an open source game like OpenTTD or Simutrans, is it considered copyright infringement?

... I think in all fairness GTA Vice City is better than all of the GTA franchise. It feels nostalgic to be in the 80s, there is less swearing in the game (or the swearing is not too vulgar) and the game storyline is linear and simple, easy to follow.
