Hi there,
today I have a terrain-tool that might be useful for anyone who was ever unnerved by placing a larger number of deco parking lots before.

YES!
Your prayers have been answered!
Now you can finally bring the progress of civilization into your cities and conveniently turn all the ugly and dirty landscape into neatly arranged parking lots.
Parking lots as far as the eye can see...

The tool works just like the trees from the terrain menu. You can draw out zones that are filled randomly with 1x1 parking lots or you can pick specific variants to build. The lots do not have any influence on anything. They are pure eye-candy.
In case the first build was not varied enough you can just zone over the parts that are bothering you until you reach a satisfying result.

The graphics were for the most part originally made by Lobby and Theo. I just had the idea and compiled the various lots to form this tool. Most lots are (more or less) the same as the existing deco parking lots, but I added some new ones for the sake of variety.
In total, this tool contains 17 different 1x1 lots (from A to Q). One blank lot and 16 lots that are filled with one or two cars.

This is a very important update, I highly recommend redownloading to anyone who has downloaded the plugin before!
The update fixes the "auto build" option in order to prevent the parking lots from spawning when creating a new city with trees.

No, it is not exactly a "set" of parking lots.
It is a tool that works just like the trees in the terrain menu. The difference is, that it allows you to draw out zones of random parking lots instead of trees.
Imagine you want to create a 6x6 parking lot in your city to make a suburban mall or something. How often would you have to switch back and forth between the different variants of the ingame parking lots from the deco menu in order to achieve a non-repetitive result? Several times, right?
With this tool, you draw a 6x6 zone once and you're instantly done.
That is the purpose of this plugin.

Oh, that's really bad. I wasn't aware of that.

Thanks @Lobby for your quick help.
It would be cool, though, if we could choose the kinds of trees to be build in the new city dialogue. Maybe you could add something like a pull-down menu with boxes to tick? Because with my palms and the bushes etc. there are a number of different tree types that could be useful in different scenarios.
Another option to choose between grass and sand terrain would be useful as well.

I will update the json to prevent the parking lots from building automatically.

Oh man. This was actually my dream. I thought to myself the other day "man, if I sat down for a few hours I could probably make this tool to make life easier" and then you did it. Awesome stuff man.

I don't think that's possible.
These parking lots are basically trees to the game.
And the ingame parking lots are deco-tiles so there is no traffic either.
I know that there is a parking lot plugin that works as a road, but I don't remember the name. Cars can drive on them, but they don't park there.
