Hindi and Bengali translations

#1

Post by Sbb1413 »

I had previously proposed Hindi and Esperanto translations of TheoTown. However, since I no longer support Esperanto as a language, I'm currently proposing Hindi and Bengali translations of TheoTown. I'm drafting an XML for the Bengali translation. However, since I don't know how to use GitHub (yet), I'm sharing the (incomplete) XML for the Bengali translation here. Feel free to upload the completed version.

But the font of the text won't allow us to read things properly. like vividh will turn into vavidhi.

Which text? There should be ways to work around such problems of the TheoTown font. The Indic scripts, including Devanagari, Bengali, Tamil and Telugu, work pretty well with Noto Sans and Noto Serif fonts.

When I try to label the parts of my city, this problem does occur.
