TheoTown folder in a different location?
Any way to make TheoTown on PC keep its files in a different location than C:\Users\username\TheoTown?

Re: TheoTown folder in a different location?
I believe you can do that by setting a launch argument as provided in the following link:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/150 ... m-property
Alternatively, you can modify HOME environment variable for TheoTown when launching it.

Setting a launch argument worked. Thanks!

Beware that depending on your installation none of the approaches work. Setting HOME works, but will not work with Theotown's DRM under linux.JustAnyone wrote: ↑26 Feb 2023, 12:52I believe you can do that by setting a launch argument as provided in the following link:

And the system property one I'm not too sure about whether that can work in the current day and age.

Tested with following JDKs: Temurin 1.8.0_362, Temurin-11.0.18+10, Temurin-17.0.6+10, Temurin-19.0.2+7, Red_Hat-11.0.18.0.10-1.fc37, IBM Semeru Runtime Open Edition 17.0.5.0, Red_Hat-17.0.6.0.10-1.fc37, Zulu19.32+15-CA, Zulu17.40+19-CA, Bellsoft 17.0.6+10-LTS
Also tested out with Zulu 6.22.0.3-linux64, but as it can easily be predicted it cannot launch Theotown.
