It includes Farnsworth House (Mies van der Rohe), Glass House (Phillip Johnson), Maison in Bordeaux (Rem Koolhaas), Margaret Esherick House (Louis Kahn), Maison Ozenfant (Le Corbusier), Sky House (Kikutake Kiyonori), Weissenhof Seidlung Villa (Le Corbusier), Vanna Venturi House (Robert Venturi).

Price Tower, Frank Lloyd Wright's only realized skyscraper, is a 19-story masterpiece in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, completed in 1956. Known as "the tree that escaped the crowded forest," its cantilevered design and triangular plan reflect Wright's organic architecture.

The Barbican Estate is a renowned example of Brutalist architecture located in the heart of London, designed by architects Chamberlin, Powell, and Bon in the 1960s. This sprawling complex features a mix of residential towers, low-rise apartments, and communal spaces, all connected by elevated walkways and landscaped gardens. The estate is notable for its rugged concrete aesthetic, bold geometric shapes, and innovative urban design, which aims to create a self-contained community.

Vitra Design Museum is an excellent deconstrutivist building designed by Frank Gehry. Twisted forms created a poetic flow of space.

(You can follow me on REDnote, @O(PA)QUE ) The Viipuri Library, designed by Alvar Aalto in the 1930s, is a landmark of modernist architecture located in Vyborg, Russia (formerly Viipuri, Finland). Known for its innovative design, the library features undulating ceilings in the reading rooms, which enhance acoustics and create a sense of openness. One of the building's most iconic elements is the skylight system that floods the interior with natural light, providing a soft, even illumination throughout the reading spaces. Aalto’s use of organic forms and his focus on user experience make the Viipuri Library a celebrated example of functional and human-centered design.

Actually, this is just the entrance and ballroom of the Shenzhen Mandarin Oriental, the main part of it is in a almost 400 meter high building next to it. They belong to Shen Ye Upperhills Mixed-Use Development. The architecture is designed by SOM; it is in the shape of a gate, or a photo frame. This is one of my favourite architecture in Shenzhen.

James Simon Gallery and Neues Museum in Berlin. David Chipperfield designed the former and undertook the rennovation of the later.

The Ford Foundation building by Kevin Roche, completed in 1968 in New York City, is a modernist masterpiece featuring a unique integration of glass and steel with lush greenery. Its atrium redefines the relationship between architecture and nature, embodying transparency, openness, and the foundation's commitment to progressive values.

Designed by Herzog & de Meuron in collaboration with TFP Farrells and Arup, the building consists of a horizontal podium and a slender vertical tower, forming an inverted T shape. The expansive podium, elevated above the ground, houses 17,000 square meters of exhibition space, including 33 galleries, three cinemas, a multimedia center, learning spaces, and a rooftop garden with panoramic views of the harbor. The vertical tower accommodates the museum’s research center, offices, restaurants, and the M+ lounge on the 11th floor. An LED façade facing Victoria Harbour displays moving image artworks, visible from the West Kowloon Promenade and across the harbor on Hong Kong Island. The design allows visitors to enter from multiple points, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces.
