KT Gwanghwamun Building East is an office building located in Cheongjin-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. Completed in January 2015, it was designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop and SAMOO Architects & Engineers. The building is 25 stories above ground and features a distinctive glass curtain-wall facade and a 12-meter-high piloti that makes the main volume appear to float above the ground. It also incorporates landscaped spaces, a rooftop garden inspired by traditional Korean architecture, and various sustainable design features.
