So, I've made some rail textures that may fit to my modular station and S-Bahn. I'm not sure if this is the final version, though.
Making this was a real pain... But, thanks to @22Alpha for providing the LTR-rails as a template,

It could be that at the intersections of the streets you can put a barrier?

About RRCs, @Lobby[Posts][PM], in Military Zones has created barriers, that appear when fence crosses road. Is that possible with codes? :fire

I don't know, so far it is all just textures and not functional.
But, I suspect that intersections with normal roads won't work properly. So, barriers won't be possible I'm afraid. You only have one frame for crossings, but you would need two different frames to cover all viewing perspectives.
So, the only way to get around this would be to build bridges.

Can the end pieces be like... End-of-track bumpers instead? U-turning doesn't look that realistic...

Maybe have both graphic in 1 tile. The Uturn and the bumpers behind/infront. Or left it as it is, It's stunning enough already.

Oh, okay. I thought you just wanted to repackage my tramway with someone else's graphics. Using my tram code for your own stuff is fine by me

When I use this plugin, I get an error saying that the train category can not be found, even when I removed the rail platform decorations and downloaded the category. What is the problem?

You can have barriers at intersections, one barrier for each direction. It's possible because the barriers are animations.

That's true. But, a railroad crossing usually has just two barriers and not four. Would you see a way to have two barriers on the correct sides?

Yes, just use a different set of barrier animations at intersections. You could provide one road for each barrier direction at intersections. It might be possible to change the direction with on click fun actions.
