Getting Started
How do I play TheoTown?
You are the mayor of a city. Provide power and water, zone residential, commercial, and industrial areas, and connect everything with roads. Once infrastructure is available, citizens will move in automatically.
Improve happiness by building parks and services. Provide education so buildings can level up and generate more taxes. As your city grows, manage pollution, traffic, fire protection, healthcare, and crime.
Plugins
What are plugins?
Plugins are extensions that add content to TheoTown. Most plugins introduce new buildings. Plugins can be downloaded from the in-game Plugin Store or from the forum.
Can I create my own plugin?
Yes. Plugins consist of JSON configuration files and graphics. You can create them on mobile or PC.

To publish a plugin, you must register in the forum.
Note: Plugin-related issues should be reported to the plugin creator whenever possible.
Online Mode
Online mode allows you to upload regions to share them with others.

Upload Pricing
Region upload costs depend on city count and region size. Pricing may change over time.
Region Coins (Desktop)
On desktop, region coins are earned daily by playing for at least five minutes.
Device Transfer
How do I transfer my cities to a new device?
Copy the TheoTown folder from your old device to your new one.
You can also access your game files using the built-in file manager:
Open the game → Region View → Game Menu → Files.
Android
Android/data/info.flowersoft.theotown.theotown/files
iOS
Accessible via the Files app or iTunes (TheoTown folder).
Desktop
/Users/YourUsername/TheoTown
Steam Cloud synchronizes automatically.
How do I transfer purchases or diamonds?
Use the same platform account (Google Play / Apple / Steam). Purchases are managed by the platform provider.
To synchronize diamonds, plugins, and online mode access, log into your forum account inside the game.
Content & Customization
Can I create my own region?
Yes. The built-in region creator allows you to generate custom regions.
Can I add my own music?
Yes. Use the import function of the built-in Music Library.
Technical Issues
The game says it was hacked (Android). What can I do?
Install the official version from the Play Store.

Accounts that obtained diamonds or other in-game items through unauthorized modifications may not function correctly in the official version and may be subject to suspension.
Trouble running the game on PC?
Install Java manually:

Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.
For Intel GPUs, a specific Java version may help:

If the UI appears too small on high-DPI displays, enable DPI compatibility mode in your OS settings or use the resolution and scaling options in the game's settings.

Uninstalling the Game
Uninstall via your platform’s app store.
To remove city data, delete the TheoTown folder:
Windows: C:\Users\YourUsername\TheoTown
Linux/Mac: /home/TheoTown
Android/iOS: Android/data/info.flowersoft.theotown.theotown/files (Data is removed automatically unless retained manually)
